31/3/23 Roundup – English (year 9)

The Yoto Carnegies

A group of keen year 9 readers have been given the challenge of reading books that have been nominated for the Carnegie Medal for Writing. This is awarded to the finest fiction book published for teens in 2023. The students will meet each Tuesday lunchtime to discuss their books and take part in other fun activities. They will also get to vote for their favourite novel. Thank you from Mrs. Baldwin to all of the following for agreeing to participate and help with the voting process:

Maria-Grace S, Amelia H, Romily G, Grace R, Grace W,

Hope R, Daisy D, Leo G, Elias F, Oscar S, Daniel S.

The next meeting is Tuesday 18th April in room A14.

Year 11 Revision

You should surround your character with a few quotations, devices, context and how they are used in the plays or novels.

Please remember that there are English revision sessions available over Easter for you to attend.
